Josh Riley Stands Against Cuts to Medicaid and Medicare

Last night, Republicans in the US House of Representatives passed a budget resolution that practically guarantees that 880 billion dollars are going to be cut from Medicaid and Medicare.

At the same time, the Republican federal budget creates 4.4 trillion dollars in new losses, in spending on special breaks for America’s most wealthy elites and powerful corporations.

U.S. Representative Josh Riley voted against this inhumane budget that sacrifices America’s grandparents and working people struggling with illnesses in order to pay for rich people’s new vacation homes.

Congressman Josh Riley had the decency to say no.
