Josh Riley Votes Against Fascist Attack On Judicial Oversight
Yesterday, after some delay, the No Rogue Rulings Act, H.R. 1526, came the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives.
The bill passed the House, by just a few votes.
The legislation will, if passed by the Senate, take away the ability of US District Court judges to prevent tyrannical abuses of power by the Executive Branch.
H.R. 1526 is a law that is designed to help Donald Trump become a fascist dictator.
Congressman Josh Riley voted against this atrocious attack against American democracy.
When a US District Court judge rules that the President cannot violate the law, that’s not a rogue ruling. It’s the way things are supposed to work in a democracy.
